After some experiences in other electronic music projects, José Diogo Correia and Hélder Vasconcelos in 2006 began a new music concept that they called "Re:Axis", which follows the line of previous work but now on a 4/4 rhythmic perspective. In 2007 the duo released their firsts eps on independent digital labels but it was in beginning of 2008 that they won some recognition with the release of EP "Outsider" in the London label, Piso Records. It also was with this release that Re:axis made their first appearance in Beatport Top downloads reaching the top 20 in the Minimal Techno genre. After the recognition obtained in this edition, Re:Axis were asked to produce a new EP to the respected Berlin label Autist Records. After that their music started to be included in playlists of top DJs such as Richie Hawtin ( "Take Me There"). In Mid-2008 driven by trends in digital markets formed his own label, Monocline Records. The independent label has allowed the project to shape its presence on the world of dance music through the sound identity outlined along the 15 editions held. In February 2009, the project released their second record on Autist Records entitled "Random Box”. The release was referenced in the top digital stores for weeks reaching a record sales of 700 downloads in the first month. Throughout 2009 the duo was asked to remix artists such as Miro Pajic, Psyk, among others, in labels like Lazerslut, FVF Records, Sleaze, etc ... In parallel with their production, Re:Axis in live act format with their own productions has been performing regularly in clubs. Zhao is a young emerging artist from Nice, south of France. Interested in music very early, he started
drums at the age of six by attending courses in a local music academy.
Few years later, encountering problems in creating serious bands to develop with, he decided to
develop by his own and throw himself in electronic music and production. Since then, he never
stopped producing tracks and live sets.
Founder of ANOZER label (featuring From Karaoke To Stardom, Pheek, Qik, Noob and more), Zhao
produced tracks for various minimal and techno labels such as Pheek’s ARCHIPEL, Mark Henning’s
CLEVER MUSIC or German label AUTIST.
He also released tracks for GASTSPIEL, BUDENZAUBER and MEERESTIEF compilations, alongside
major artists such as Franco Bianco, Alexi Delano, Keisuke Kondo or Ali Khan.
For this work, he received the supports from a lot of famous artists including Troy Pierce, Miss Kittin,
Chris Liebing, Tim Green, Laurent Garnier or Chloé (for more information, see links below).
Influenced by artists like Richie Hawtin, Tadeo or Cristian Vogel, Zhao’s style is a mix of bleeped
minimal and cyclical techno with always a melancholic side.
Miss Sunshine is a deity of techno that commands attention while performing and beyond doubt one of the biggest electronic music fan. Always had an interest in music, but her passion for it evolved back in 1995, when she started to frequent the underground techno parties. She was perfectly placed to hear Balkan electronic music in its earliest forms.
She began her journey on the radio show “Clubhopping” (together with Loki Masa), the first “on air” electronic music experience in the area at that time and landed a prime residency at the Oxygene club in 1999 which led into a two year residency at Vega club. She played at the the serial of partys “Drumatica” together with big names of techno scene like Bone, Valentino Kanzyani, Jel Ford, Funk D.. Void, Gayle San and many more.
Through her DJ sets or her productions on labels like Manual Music, Stolen Moments, Empro Music, Kaseta Music Records or Aciitone, Miss Sunshine unifies perceptions of open minded people in her graceful sense for sounds and minimal tones, strengthened with solid tech grooves and the love of challenging music without boundaries.
Keeping along her path in 2000 she appeared on Croatian Annual Music Awards - Black Cat (“Crni Macak”), where she had the opportunity to host the Electronic music Category. In 2002, Miss Sunshine’s music took her to Valkana Beach Festival (Croatia) and Exit Festival (former Yugoslavia). She was also requested to attend the Sunrise Festival (Croatia) and Lady’s Sound Attack (Germany) during the same year.
People responses to the music, their peculiar lives, and exceptional party scenes have inspired Sunshine throughout the time and kept her hooked on the point of it: foster original sounds, mix music that mesmerizes audiences on the dance floor every time she performs, even though every so often her spins leads to the darkest and deepest corners of electronic music.
2006 has been another astonishing busy year for Miss Sunshine taking in venues across Europe. She also joined the Tuborg green DJ Academy as coach, teaching young people the basics in DJ skills, history and equipment. Same year Sunshine meets Marko Moree and together they start a techno/ minimal/ house sound project.
The next step was to make music and 2007 brings the debut EP “The morning after” on Decoded Mini records and the remix of the Mexican artist Isis Signum on Advanced Synergy rec.
Latest successes includes the “Look Expensive” EP and remix for Sinisa Lukic’s track “Dry & Wet”, that caused a stir and was sustained by many respectable DJs like Paul Hazendonk whom requested it for the “Sound Shifting 2.0” studio dj mix, released on Manual Music label.
Soon after this came the opportunity to do a remix for great Belgian DJ and producer, Tom Hades and his “ Cinema Club“ track, alongside with well-known Brazilian DJ and producer Wehbba. The release was gaining critical acclaim by world famous djs like Laurent Garnier, Joey Beltram or Chris Fortier.
In 2009 she joined Queens of Minimal Techno, music collaboration with Viktoria Rebeka. Queens of Minimal Techno events are an underground music experience presented across Europe and stand for quality electronic music.
Over the years Sunshine has built up a varied list of DJs/Producers that she has played with. To name only some, she has spun next to; Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Billy Nasty, Jel Ford, Valentino Kanzyani, Marko Nastic, Umek, Oxia, Killians, Aril Brikha, Ken Ishii, Christian Smith, Steve Rachmand, La Di Da, Hi-Fi Princess, Lucca, Jean Marie Konne, Timo Maas, Miss Yetti, Mr. C, Slobodan, Corvin Dalek, Bone, Gayle San.
In search of new sounds and scenes, Sunshine continues her journey on and off the decks, always ready to perform in her unique style and technique.

But under the name Mike Wall he released for the first time on the record label Modulat in 2005 and thenceforth things were looking up for him. In the same year he played at the legendary Melt Festival and refurnished his studio. These changes brought a fresh wind in EP..s like “Loose Changes” or “She Comes” and let the production seems much more smooth and warm. For the variety in his sets he is known over the border of Germany, because even listeners in Italy, Spain, Greece, Austria and Swiss are enthusiastic about his dynamic sound.
His vinyldebut was realeased on the london minimal label Safari Electronique in 2006, where he belonged to the core of producers asides Italoboyz, Delete and Arnaud le Textier.
Since then a lot happened and he released on labels like smallroom music, Dilek, Lordag, Meerestief and his own label Orphik. With the foundation of Orphik Recordings he took a further step into independence and he began to pushes unknown artists and labels with the credo of having the best fun out of it.
Although artists like Steve Bug had influencing control over him he found his own sound. The symbiosis of techno and groove lays perfectly in the warm baselines, but Mike himself not to rest.
Further releases and long partynights are already planned for 2010.
Kane Roth appeared on the techno landscape in 2006 with a subtle release on Swiss techno Neopren Recordings, and ever since then, she’s been dipping her hand into the minimal basket to whip up a release, sporadically coming out with releases on techno powerhouse labels such as Canada’s Archipel, London’s Multi Vitamins, Belgium’s Lessizmore and Germany’s Smallroom Music. But with no signs of slowing down, the beauty has only just begun to let us hear her beast. She’s bringing up the female forefront, we can’t deny that there’s something going on in that side of the gene pool. France, quietly creating techno monsters in its historical depths and making waves with its fantastic clubs, has created another monster - except this one far more beautiful and subtle than some of its peers. Kane Roth is continually evolving as an artist, combining her wide range of infuences into her own music, creating a unique personal sound, blending rich textures, melodies and intricate programming with dark bass and groove. Her music doesn’t shut out anyone. Behind each title, there’s always a story, something that was felt in the silence and she transmits repeatedly to us.Her musical career is a symbiotic combination of producing and DJing.
In addition to playing numerous clubs and events throughout France and Europe, her releases are favored by many respected artists like: Someone Else, Jon Gaiser, Ambivalent, Gregor Tresher, Loco Dice, Josh Wink, Dario Zenker, so on...With an EP release on smallroom music in the year 2010 there will be another thrilling project by this creative artist.

His tracks explore both the dark and funky sides of techno.
Born in France, James Unk first got in touch with music very early by learning to play drums. His passion for music pushed him to explore many musical instruments and styles and he finally reached the electronic music at the age of 16 by performing live sets with analogic machines in clubs and parties.
Then he started djing and in the same time producing his first records on french independants labels.

He collaborates with a bunch of artists ( Paco Osuna, Exercice one, Kane Roth, Henry Goes Dirty, Remote, Julien Piacentino,...)
Since the beginning of his musical works, he never stopped making live sets in clubs, such as the FUSE Club in Bruxelles, or even DIMUSCHI events in Paris.
Infuenced by the work of djs and producers such as Pan-Pot, Richie Hawtin, Gaiser, Maetrik and many others... he forged his own sensitivity and his own sound, based on organic structures and rythmic dynamism.
Sjaakflut, also known as Reagen, (real name Albert Dros) was born in Holland in 1985. He is a twenty year old producer with a passion for minimal techno. Inspired by likes of Troy Pierce, Magda, Matthew Dear, Ryan Crosson, John Gaiser and many more, Albert turned his attentions to a variety of production styles. 2001 was the year that Albert discovered techno. He immediately fell in love with it and after downloading almost every mixtape on the planet he started to produce his own music with a shitty pc and fruity loops. Now days Albert uses Fruity loops in combination with Ableton and a whole bunch of virtual instruments to create the sounds he loves. He is a master of finesse when it comes to dark minimal techno and more diverse, warped and melodic beats. One day it can be deep and dark, the other day it can be bleepy and happy. It all depends on the mood. In 2006 labels started to notice Albert’s Music. He signed with Letroom/Leftout and released his first vinyl Leftout02: Can’t Remember that EP. The tracks were all melodic with catchy melodies. It was received really well and was supported by a lot of known DJs. After this, Albert’s alias emerged: Sjaakflut. If you hear this name you can be sure to expect dark tunes that scare the shit out of you. You will see this name on the Irish FVF label, and on many more in the future. In 2007 Albert was getting his first gigs, and played live in several locations in The Netherlands, and also international in Dublin. Now Albert is busy with a lot of new tunes for several labels.Whether remixing hard to find records to suit his style, or creating his own unique brand of music, Albert is one to watch for the future.

Emerging from the old industrial center of Belgium (Aalst), young producer Tom Dazing got hooked on music at an early age. Born in 1985 on the musical axis of Ghent-Brussels, and with music strengthening its grip on him, he soon found his way to the record stores at the age of 18, setting off on becoming a reputed dj but soon evolving towards the production side of things. Tom developes an interest in a wide spectrum of music styles, but consumed by the strength, power and instinctive structure of techno, that music would control him up to now.
In 2006 he gave birth to his debut EP that immediately blasted its way into the playlist of several a-list dj's worldwide. His unique blend of bumping minimal techno with huge influences of oldschool chicago and acidhouse landed him a release on Marco Bailey's MB Selektions in that same year. Soon followed by releases on Andre Crom's Heimatmelodie imprint, PsyTox' label Coincidence, and again MB Selektions where his track "Octopussy" scorched the feet of dancefloor punters all over the globe. He also performs his material live enabling him to turn up the energy levels a notch further. In his records he tries to blend in old school drum elements into a subtle environment of new slinky grooves and all-out raving madnesshave, which attracted the attention of top DJs.

Camille Austa is a newcomer on french techno scene. He grew up listening the electronic music of his brother Kiko. It's in 2003 that Camille Austa started creating music. At first he was really attracted by the techno-electric's wave, very famous at this time. But the more he was making music, the more he was going in a minimalist style releasing then his first EP named "From the Bottom of My Machine". Camille Austa is in the beginning of his very promising route, there is no need to write longer yet. Everything remains to be done, and to be written ...
Born and raised in Frankfurt / Germany, Miro started to get involved into techno back in 1991
when Sven Vaeth was resident DJ in the legendary OMEN Club, which Mr. Pajic visited every
weekend until the mid 90's.
With borrowed equipment (a TR-606 and an MC-202 + a little Spirit Folio mixer)
he recorded his very first demo on casette and passed it to the notorious guys from PCP (Planet Core Productions),
which were quiet big back then and very involved in the world of techno. (Makers of 'Frankfurt Trax' series as an example)
They released 2 tracks on vinyl and his first 7' called 'MIRO1' was born. That was in 1993.
The split up of 'techno house' into all the genres such as trance, hardcore, gabber, breakbeat etc and being stuck to the PCP clan,
sucked him more and more into the harder sides of the techno aftermath. Miro started producing alot of records and became the
second main producer next to Marc Acardipane (The Mover, Mescalinum United, Ace The Space etc), who's reputation was very high.
Miro with his dozens of aliases has created some of the biggest hits in the hardcore sector and is definitely a real legend within that scene.
With about 70 vinyl releases produced by Miro, the PCP era was closed near the millenium.
Besides working on some harder productions it was getting a bit quiet until he moved to Berlin in 2006. His taste and influences have
changed alot. Since then he hooked up with several Berlin and USA based artists and released on labels such as Klickhaus, Kiddaz.fm,
Proper NYC and Tora Tora Tora - a beginning of a new phase of his life as a musician.
By now he has found his very own and unique style within the Minimal Techno sector. Miro's productions are mainly nothing for beginners
but mostly carry a deep heaviness and psychotic drug atmosphere which can be heard regulary on his own label Lazerslut since january 2008.
after 15 years of being involved and knowing what it means to fight for his dreams, his name and reputation is on a rising path in this gigantic ocean of techno today!
Foetus divided into musical world, feet on earth Jan Hendez interested by sonority universe very early. He practices percussion and stringed instruments (Djembé, electric and acoustic guitar, drum kit) during his childhood. But this young musician inspires his creativity towards digital music. His compositions are adorned experimentations sounds, his approach is like a digital painter who brushes against musical canvas by minimalist stroke, vocal sketch, rhythmicals constructions, the listener travels through a synthetic universe undergoing profound change. After being published on music at present Tsugi journal, signing with Multi Vitamins English music label, starting on tour in prestigious nightclubs and Festivals in south of France (Villa Rouge, Ice Club, Yaka, Pink After, Identity Halloween, Electro Garden, A-Nîmé), charming brilliant artists (Richie Hawtin of Minus, Insideout of Clink Recording), working with Monoloc or Brian Sanhaji (mastering), and now Jan Hendez contaminates music lovers with his sounds specters/ specters (en Angleterre) endowed gripping harmonies.
Oliver Dodd began recording and producing experiential music at the young age of twelve. Inspired by the punk and noise radio shows on the air in Atlanta in the late eighties, he began making his own music. Through his experiments with recording he soon discovered electronic instruments and then later the emerging sounds of House and Techno. Oliver became dedicated to creating electronic music, and for the next ten years Oliver would release records on such classic labels as K. Hand's Acacia Records, Woody McBride's Communique, Andy Dux’s Over-X-Posure, Tommie Sunshine's Xylophone Jones, and Bolz Bolz's World Electric Recordings. During this time Oliver also started DJing and performing live.
Today Oliver's minimal tracks can be heard on such labels as Minus, Addon, Klectic, Sony, and his own imprint Konstructure. With these tracks Oliver has continued to explore the relationship between the laws of organic sound and the open possibilities of synthetic phenomena. Employing analog rhythms and deep and hypnotic basslines while delivering with precision his futuristic yet natural soundscapes, Oliver’s continually evolving sound is wrapped in a rhizome making clear his own unique style.
Octave is a young artist born in Paris, France. He is the son of a musician and grew up in a musical atmosphere; it is his whole world. He started to study piano when he was 11 years old. But it lasted just 2 years. Few years have passed and his eclectic musical taste brings him to appreciate various musical styles like Pop,Rock,Jazz,Reggae and Hip Hop music. He discovered his deep interest for electronic music in 2001 listening to House Music in clubs. In 2003, he had his first experience with turntables and it revealed him a great passion for it. At the very beginning he started to play House Music which sounded like the American House (from Detroit,Chicago and so on) a little bit influenced by Electro before it became more part of the Minimal Techno Music. Of course, it did not take him a long time to think about making sounds and, in 2006, he started to create tracks of Minimal Techno Music in which he melts Clicks, Bleeps and stirring basslines.
Itzone started his career as a DJ in 1995, well in actuality, took this as a lifestyle. With his great and diverse record collection he has forged his own style, easily converging sounds from Techno to Ambient. Crowds classify it as a mind blowing drama play, guaranteed to get the dance floor moving.
Itzone has been a key figure within Mexico's electronic scene. As a DJ, Producer and Promoter (House Of Tech - Multimedia Event) his style and compromise with music have been mesmerizing, continuously fueling the scene.
In 1999 he opened the HOT-CAKES Record Shop, specializing in the Electronic genres: Techno, Tech-House, Electro, IDM, Ambient, D&B, Dub, Locked Grooves, Battle & Scratch Records and all kinds of Experimental & Rare Grooves (this is true!!!!!).
After a few years of actively being in the scene through Hot-Cakes as an electronic music portal with a Radio Show and Record Shop, DJing and promoting House Of Tech, in 2004 Itzone initiates an introspective journey in search for his own sound. Translating his intuitions and sensibilities into sound engineering, he builds his personal way of thinking and sharing music through an unpredictable and explosive LIVE Set. Choosing to pursue and in many ways define a more cutting-edge sound, his approach to music has mutated through the years, defining his sound as a primitive, spaced out, electronica odyssey (best for outdoors).
Itzone has transfigured dance floors, massive stages and alternative spaces inside and outside of Mexico, performing in festivals such as Loveparade (Mexico & Chile) and Mutek Mx '07 (Live) as the festival closing headliner.
For a good decade now has been Gonzalo Urtizberea (a.k.a. Gurtz) incarnating his creative potential into diverse beeps, bleeps, twists and tweaks. Having evolved from classical music studies to the world famous electronic music producer/dj.
In the recent years he rocked best dancefloors and festivals of Europe and Both Americas (Watergate, Weekend or Bar25/Berlin, Fuse/Brussels, Moog/Barcelona, Nouveau Casino/Paris, Arma17/Moscow, Toy Club/Stuttgart, Hive/Zurich, Avalon/Los Angeles, Overground Festival/Geneva, Mutek/Arg or Minitek Festival/NYC) and has been releasing his tracks on well-known labels, such as Eimaleins, Lomidhigh , Igloo, Liga Elektronika or Telegraph, to name a few.
Creative and collaborative, he has remixed and been remixed by such techno stars as Bruno Pronsato, Dandy Jack, Ryan Crosson, Mark Henning, Seph, Dapayk, Ambivalent, Franco Cinelli, Agaric, Dilo, Funzion, etc, and his bright live performances have gained the artist passionate affection everywhere from his home land Argentina all the way to Eastern Europe.
Within his most recent project under the aliases of Gonzales, he ventured off towards eclectic synergy of rythmic twisted house with thoughtful and eternal epic melodies.
As a talented and versatile artist, is not only mixing, creating his own music, but also supporting and promoting other producers and kinds of electronic music and multimedia media art, not necessarily tied to the dance floor, throughout his own net label www.naturalmedia.com.ar.
Mentalic's passion for music began to grow in the mid 90s by listening to Hardcore/ Gabber and some Metal stuff and finally in 2001 he started producing seriously. He also wanted to dj and so began to buy vinyl records. Since that time he tried to find ways to go public but he didn't had the right connections and also his producing methods were skilled low. Back then harder and more rave-based styles were on his mind - influenced by the examples of PCP, Acardipane Records and similar stuff. He didn't wanted to make only "boring" Techno and over the years he created dozens of aliases for various styles he explored - some of them still exist.
In 2002 he met Fin Phranklin / Alec Troniq through an education in Dresden. They became brothers in mind and spent a lot of time producing head to head after school. Through Fin he came in touch with the scene in Dresden, went to his first Techno and Hardcore parties and met people who were / are involved. His first public DJ-gig he had in 2005 at the Triebwerk in Dresden. The next two years he spent with producing and djing at different locations. In that time his musical focus changed and finally set to more Techno-influenced tunes.
Already at the end of 2006 he was sent a request to release his now well known "Desperado". He met Dirk Steyer of famous EBM-project Accessory and came in touch with local ETUI Records label and so in august 2007 the first releases containing Mentalic tracks were to get. ETUI Records also featured his "Prague" and made it a little "hit". His second solo-record "Chapter One: Desperado" and a great Gabriel Ananda & Dominik Eulberg remix followed on Microtonal and brought him first international interest.
Together with Alec Troniq, Tickles and the heads of Microtonal he created Ipoly Music his first own imprint in august 2008. Exactly one year later he played his biggest gig to date at the famous "Nature One" festival.
Nowadays his music could be discribed as Minimal Techno with a slapstick rebel attitude and some dark moments. His releases on further labels like Wreckless Recordings (Omaha/ US) or Glare Records (Berlin) and remixes for acts like Miro Pajic, Groove Delicious or labelmate Alec Troniq prove that.
Menty is a "Techabilly" and he plays "Tech'N'Roll"!!... What the...?? See him on stage to understand!

Being born 1990, Julien is a perfect example for the rising scene of a new generation of producers who are not afraid of mixing up the darker side of rough and minimalist techno with references to psychedelic trance. The result is deeply athmospheric and dense music with an outstanding sounddesign that has the ability to blur the feeling of time on dancefloors.

Fokko Versloot was born in 1982 in Leiderdorp, one of the most notorious cities of the Dutch 'polder'. One year later, in 1983, his parents decided that their hometown, the suburban ghetto of Zoeterwoude, was too dangerous to raise their family and migrated to the far north. They settled in Sneek, Friesland, and stayed there more than seven successive years. By 1990 they had realized there was no other option than to return to the region where they originally came from and moved to Leiden, city of Rembrandt van Rijn, Jan Steen, Pablo Picasso and many other internationally respected troubadours. Fokko lived in the centre of Leiden-city for more than 15 years, next to an award-winning Chinese restaurant. Currently he is in the process of moving to Rotterdam, the city that decided to name everything there is in the city after Erasmus.
Since the late nineties Fokko started DJ'ing and producing music, and developed his very own style. Nowadays, his music ranges from electronic-inspired, soul-infused house to floorpounding, funking techno and everything in between. More experienced and battle-hardened listeners will hear a twist of ambient gospel too. Influenced by artists like Trevor Loveys, Solid Groove, Trentemoller, Marco Carola, Adam Beyer, Umek, Davide Squillace, Massi DL, Joseph Capriati and Lucio Aquilina, Fokko's musical vision can be described both intelligent and deep as energetic and powerful.
Lately - while still paying attention to his DJ-career - Fokko is trying to focus more and more on creating his own tracks. In april 2008 his first EP was released at the infamous label of Outland Records, based in Amsterdam. This EP contained the tracks 'Circus' (made together with Koen Lebens) and 'Repeat'. Both tracks received massive support and are played by artists like Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Benny Rodrigues, Bart Skils, Dave Ellesmere, Joris Voorn, Edwin Oosterwal, Nuno dos Santos, Warren Fellow, Juan Sanchez, Massi DL and many more. The summer and autumn of 2008 will see more crazy productions and remixes. Already a great succes is Fokko's remix of Koen Lebens - Napolitanzer that will be released july/august. This track is already played by Karotte, Valentino Kanzyani (it was in his May chart), Warren Fellow, Joseph Capriati, James Nidecker, Adam Beyer and lots of other big names. Currently, Fokko is working on various new tracks and remixes. More info about this very soon!
Koen Lebens was born in 1984 in Leiden, The Netherlands. At the age of 12 Koen started his musical career by playing drums: at first he produced his own tracks with a couple of buckets and some wooden sticks, but later later on he started to develop his very own style and bought his own drumkit. As Koen grew older he got tired of his drumkit and turned to DJ-ing instead. In a few years Koen, now being 24 years old, has developed his skills as a professional producer and DJ. Together with sidekick Fokko Versloot, Koen Lebens already has performed at several big events like Studio 80, Off Corso, LVC and Paard van Troje, where he played next to DJ’s like Joris Voorn, Massi DL, Donk Boys, Warren Fellow, Benny Rodrigues, Bart Skils, Andre Galluzzi, Isis, Sandrien, Peter Horrevorts. Next to DJ-ing, Koen and Fokko also have al live act in which they only mix up their own tracks. In april 2008 Koen and Fokko released their first track 'Circus' at the prestigious Amsterdam-based Outland Records. This track is already played by artists like Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Benny Rodrigues, Bart Skils, Dave Ellesmere, Joris Voorn, Edwin Oosterwal, Nuno dos Santos, Juan Sanchez, Massi DL and many more. In may 2008 Koen will release his track ‘Napolitanzer’ on James Nidecker’s label Strom Recordings. This first track made by him alone can best be described as an elegant mix of funky house and minimal techno.
